New Outdoor Deck At Pangea’s Pizzeria & Pub

When Pangea’s Pizzeria & Pub opened in June last year, they wanted to present Traverse City with a unique pizzeria experience serving gourmet pizza flavors from all over the world. Offering a wide variety of pizzas, salads and sandwiches, they have accomplished this goal so well that they have recently won a People’s Choice award that declares them “The Best Pizzeria in Grand Traverse County.”

Next up: a brand new deck off the back of the restaurant overlooking the Boardman River where you can enjoy your favorite cocktail or draft beer and a selected menu of fabulous summer fare.

Part of what has helped make Pangea’s so successful this year, says owner Chris Girrbach, “is listening to the customers.” They have just recently made some changes and additions to their menu as a result of requests their patrons have made. In addition to great pizza, breadsticks, soups and appetizers and serving food made only of the freshest ingredients, the small-town, friendly service customers receive keeps them coming back.

In addition to eating inside Pangea’s or on their new deck, you can also enjoy your lunch or dinner in the City Park Courtyard next to the fountain (running alongside Pangea’s building) or on Front Street in front of the restaurant at provided tables. You will still be served at their convenient walk-up window and they continue delivering to any downtown or old town business location. Regardless of where you choose to eat your Pangea’s fare, you are guaranteed to enjoy every bite!

PIZZA
Margarita: basil pesto sauce, mozzarella, toasted pine nuts
World Market: seasonal fresh veggies, mozzarella & goat cheese
Garlic Lovers: shallot & garlic cloves, artichoke hearts, chicken, onion & mozzarella
China Cherry Chicken: chicken, pineapple, green peppers, carrot slivers, mozzarella, sweet & sour cherry sauce

SALADS
Heartland Grain: wild rice, red lentils, wheat berries, guinoa, stone-ground mustard, dried fruit over lettuce
Greek: kalamata olives, feta, pickled beets, tomato, onion, pepperoncinis, & red wine & oregano vinaigrette
Ceasar: a classic made with fresh romaine lettuce, parmesean cheese, fresh croutons -- anchovies by request
Capri: infused basil vinegar & balsamic dressing over mozzarella, tomato & basil

We roast our own turkeys on site for the freshest, juiciest Turkey Reuben Sandwiches you’ve ever tasted!
